    美华协会-新英格兰分会(OCA-NE) 将于3月8日(星期六)在金丰大酒楼举办迎新春晚宴。此次宴会将邀请著名获奖作家Daniel Golden 主讲他的畅销书 “The Price of Admission”  。

                 Mr. Golden 毕业于哈佛大学。曾在“波士顿环球报”任记者17 年，最近十几年来担任“华尔街时报”驻波士顿地区教育部门主管。 Mr. Golden 化了长达两年多的时间采访了各大名校的许多学生，家长，校行政人员及招生办的工作人员。 “The Price of Admission” 一书收集了大量真实的故事，获得了广泛赞誉。 该书第七章重点探讨了亚裔学生申请名校的困惑，提出了许多令人深省的问题。

APIA U: Leadership 101 Training is designed to give Asian Pacific Islander American (APIA) college students the chance to engage in an interactive college leadership training program which will involve hands-on exercises, small group discussions, and presentations led by two qualified APIA facilitators.
 
- 1.5 Day Training
- 60 APIA students from each region
- Focus on Self-Awareness, team-building, and direct action organizing.
- Development of leadership tools to effectively serve as catalysts for change.
- Attendees will have the opportunity to network with local APIA community leaders

The training is FREE. Breakfast, lunch, and a light reception on Saturday will be provided.  Students are responsible for their own transportation and accommodation needs.
