Guest Speaker : Daniel Golden , George Polk Award and Pulitzer Prize winning book author of, The Price of Admission, which chronicles the uneven playing field in college admissions.  One chapter discusses the dilemma facing Asian American students.

A question and answer session followed and all available paperback copies were purchased with the author’s signature, inluding the author's personal copy.

          

美华协会- 新英格兰分会 (OCA-NE) 将于3 月8 日( 星期六) 在金丰大酒楼举办迎新春晚宴。此次宴会将邀请著名获奖作家 D aniel Golden 主讲他的畅销书 “The Price of Admission”  。

             Mr. Golden 毕业于哈佛大学。曾在“波士顿环球报”任记者 17 年，最近十几年来担任“华尔街时报”驻波士顿地区教育部门主管。 M r. Golden 化了长达两年多的时间采访了各大名校的许多学生，家长，校行政人员及招生办的工作人员。 “The Price of Admission ” 一书收集了大量真实的故事，获得了广泛赞誉。 该书第七章重点探讨了亚裔学生申请名校的困惑，提出了许多令人深省的问题。
