We are excited to announce the establishment of the “George and Assunta Cha Educational Fund”.
This Fund will provide stipends for high-school and college age students in the Boston area who are interested in pursuing their interest in State government, but who otherwise could not afford to pursue internship opportunities.
We anticipate this Fund will perfectly compliment OCA’s existing Internship Fund by providing similar opportunities for students wishing to explore government as a career-path, but preferring to stay in the Boston area.
This Fund pays homage to the selfless dedication and political activism of George and Assunta Cha. Their unceasing commitment to the betterment of our community and their commitment to having our community’s voice heard by decision-makers at all levels serves as an example and inspiration to us all.
We are proud to help establish this fund, and look forward to seeing its successful implementation.
If you or anyone you know would like to help with this project, please contact us at OCACrystal@yahoo.com. Thank you for your support of this exciting, new project.
